Crabby Jalapeno Poppers
Spice up this Valentine's day with crab stuffed jalapeno poppers!
Ingredients:
- 1 bag Jinka Crab Poppers, thawed overnight in refrigerator
- 12 oz whipped feta or cream cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 12 jalapeno peppers, seeded and halved
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup corn starch
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instruction:
- Mix thawed crab poppers, cream cheese or whipped feta, shredded cheeses until well combined.
- Spoon mixture into jalapeno halves.
- In a bowl, combine flour and corn starch. In two separate bowls, add the milk in one and bread crumbs in another.
- Dip the stuffed jalapeno in milk, then coat thoroughly in the flour mixture. Let sit to dry for 10 minutes. This is important for the breading to stick to the jalapeno.
- Dip coated jalapenos in milk and coat thoroughly in breadcrumbs. Let sit for another 5 minutes.
- Heat oil to 375F and fry until golden brown, 2-3 minutes.
- Serve with blue cheese dressing, ranch, or marinara!
